Dan Laure

Dan’s life up until about 2019 can be summarized by the pursuit of success.  Dan came from a broken home with many significant challenges during his upbringing.  These challenges led him down a path of focusing on worldly success to try and help fill the void created when he was a child.  It wasn’t until a friend shared the gospel with Dan in 2019 that his life started to change.  Over the next two years, he was discipled by a mentor through Operation Timothy.  Now, Dan mentors others through the same process and is a part of the Legacy Builders Board of Directors.

Dan has an amazing family.  He is married to Colleen and they have three wonderful, rambunctious boys, Everett, Anderson and Emmott.  Professionally, Dan runs a financial planning practice where he helps responsible, caring families, corporate executives and small business owners get peace and clarity around their finances.  In his free time, Dan loves to play sand volleyball and golf, hang out with his family and watch his boys play sports.

Favorite Bible Verse: “Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and pleading with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus”. Philippians 4:6-7

Robb Johnson

Robb is a board member with Legacy Builders Ministry. He came to faith in college in 1985 while hearing a campus ministry talk entitled “What if you climbed the ladder of success your whole life, only to reach the top and find it was leaning against the wrong wall?”. He was then discipled for the next two years by a staff member of Athletes in Action (a CRU ministry) where he experienced the invaluable benefit of one man pouring his life into another.

Robb and his wife Caroline have been married for 34 years and have been blessed with 8 children. Robb is the CEO and Founder of Altus Properties, a sponsor of commercial real estate investment opportunities for individuals and institutions.

Favorite Bible Verse: “I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives within me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me”. Galatians 2:20

Legacy Builders board member Greg Hoffman with his family

Greg Hoffman

Greg was born and raised in St. Louis. He graduated from the University of Missouri with a degree in Business Administration and Marketing. His 20-year career with Olin Brass took him to LA, Indy, Philly, Atlanta, and eventually back to St. Louis in 2005. In 2000, while living in Atlanta, Greg was invited to a CBMC breakfast and heard about one-on-one discipleship. Following the breakfast, his prayer for a “Paul” was answered, and a man named Bill Shaw discipled him through OT and beyond. On September 11, 2002, Greg became a believer in his pastor’s pickup truck outside of a Starbucks in Alpharetta, GA.

Greg was active in CBMC until he moved back to St. Louis and was stuck in an all-consuming 60 hour/week middle management job that left little time for the important things in life. That is why in 2008, he accepted a voluntary severance package from Olin and started his family entertainment center named Chesterfield Sports Fusion. His business operated successfully for 11 years until the Covid lockdowns put it out of business. Fortunately, he was able to open a new outdoor adventure business in September of 2021 named RYZE Adventure Park in Maryland Heights.

Greg and his wife Debbie have four grown children, two are from his previous marriage (Emily, 27 and Julia, 22), and two are from Debbie’s previous marriage (Megan, 25, and Jake, 22). Greg and Debbie were married in 2013. His wife Debbie, born and raised in England, became a naturalized US citizen in 2015 after living in the US for 20 years.

Greg enjoys yard work and playing golf when time allows. He and his wife also enjoy working at their business which they view as their ministry to the St. Louis Community. They attend Grace Church, and Greg also serves on the board of Urban K-Life, a north city ministry to high school students.
